Analgesic and anti-inflammatory action

Indications for use Suppositories Todicamp. Articular syndrome (rheumatoid arthritis, osteoarthritis, ankylosing spondylitis, gout); pain in the spine, neuralgia, myalgia, traumatic inflammation of soft tissues and musculoskeletal system; rheumatism, diffuse connective tissue diseases; dysmenorrhea. As an auxiliary for infectious and inflammatory diseases of ENT organs, adnexitis, prostatitis, cystitis. Benign and malignant tumors.

Dosing regimen

 To treat acute conditions or arrest the exacerbation of the chronic process, 1 candle is used once a day (in some cases as an addition to the oral administration of the drug).

Instructions

When using rectal suppositories, there is sometimes a spasm in the abdomen and a urge to defecate, so before the procedure, perform a cleansing enema or empty the bowel naturally. Otherwise, the candle may not be able to dissolve, as a result of which the effect of the drug will be zero. The exception is laxative candles. Before using them, no additional manipulation is required. Wash your hands thoroughly with soap and water. The procedure should be carried out in full purity. Prepare wet wipes or an handkerchief soaked in water. Lie on your side, pressing your knees to your stomach. For the procedure, this position is most convenient, since it helps to minimize discomfort.

Remove the candle from the package and push it with your finger into the anal opening to a depth of 2-3 cm. Carry out the procedure gently, without exerting excessive pressure. Despite the fact that the suppository has a streamlined shape, with careless use, you can injure the mucous membrane.

Do not get out of bed for about 20 minutes, this is how long it takes for the suppository to dissolve and soak under the influence of body heat. Wipe hands with a pre-prepared wet wipe or handkerchief.
